ForeFlight added into the Tactical portfolio of Boeing

ForeFlight has worked with Boeing for the past two years supplying Jeppesen data and graphs

Boeing has obtained ForeFlight, a leading provider of advanced mobile and web-based aviation applications.

The company functioned with Boeing for the past two decades , supplying aviators with Jeppesen aeronautical data and graphs through ForeFlight mobile platforms.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Boeing says the teams will incorporate talent and offerings to bring solutions that are enlarged .

Boeing says the acquisition of ForeFlight aligns with its expansion strategy of complementing investments that are organic with targeted investments that position the business for long-term expansion.

“ We are motivated by the future constructed at Boeing and precisely what our teams will have the ability to make by coming together, ” said Tyson Weihs, co-founder and CEO of both ForeFlight.

ForeFlight is located in Houston, Texas and employs about 180.
